    “Good food in Oia”
I love the food in Thalami. My partner and I tried stuffed kalamari and grilled octopus, both was superb. The price is reasonable too. Highly recommended.

“One of my favourite tavernas all over Greece”
Thalami is one of my favourite Tavernas, in Santorini and in Greece.
It serves basically typical greek standards – all of them interpreted with smart and wise creativity (herbs and spices), but very traditional in taste and in spirit.
Location is spectacular, service unpretentious but nice and honest, prices definitely reasonable.
don’t miss: tyrokeftedes (cheese balls), moussaka, bifteki, gyuvetsi, etc.

    “Spectacular view and food.”
Always ask a local for a restaurant recommendation and rarely are you disappointed. The view of the Caldera from the outside seating was fabulous but what made it spectacular was the sunset. I had the shrimp saganaki and it was delicious. Our server recommended it so how could I say no-again I was not disappointed by asking a local. The price was reasonable. Take your camera you won’t want to miss this great photo opportunity.

    “great location and food”
Once again I have visited this great restaurant in Oia – in fact this year I visited twice, once with a colleague and the next time with 162 conference delegates we took there.

There is nothing to complain about, the service is excellent and attentive.

The food is standard taverna food – no weird creations here – it is on the seafood tavern side. If you know Greek food, you will like this place.

The tomato fritters are fantastic, so is the fish, octopus, fava even the house white wine..

    The views are great.

    “Better than expected!”
We were wondering around the streets trying to find a decent place at a reasonable price for lunch. We stumbled across this restaurant due to price being reasonable and one of the tables with the view being vacant.
Service was fantastic, food came out a bit too fast (in my opinion), but I guess that’s due to trying to accommodate all the tourist wanting a seat. We ordered the garlic dip – which had a kick to it, Seafood spaghetti which could have fed two ppl. It was fantastic, not too saucy and alot of seafood on the plate. My partner ordered the meatball rice dish, which was out of this world. If we were staying in Oia we would be eating there again. I am surprise that this restaurant isn’t rated highly. We had a lovely time with a spectacular view.

“Quite literally best authentic Greek food we had in Oia!”
Ok, people are insane for not giving this 5 stars! We ate here 2 of the 4 nights we were in Oia – a village with a lot of goof (but pricey!) Greek food, and found it outstanding. My mother is Greek and therefore very critical of a lot of the “Greek” food we ate on the very touristy Santorini island, and she loved this place.

The stuffed tomatoes are amazing, as are the greek meatballs, moussaka, dolmades and yuvetsi (a greek pasta dish that is AWESOME! definitely try it). The atmosphere is great, its a busy restaurant with a large outdoor seating area – but not so large that it is too packed, it still retains an intimate feel.

Food was a good price for Oia, which is quite pricey in general.
    Definitely eat here!
