A 500 years old building accommodates our tavern which we made with great taste and love for gastronomy in order for our quests to taste the delicious recipes of the traditional Cretan cuisine.
In the morning and afternoon you can enjoy your coffee or your snack and in the evening your drink or your cocktail.
The tavern operates since 1990 in a building of 1500, which is the age of Venetian domination, in a small alley full of nostalgic and romance, preened with pergolas and night flowers that accompany the warm atmosphere of our tavern and offer you an ideal environment.
Mrs Ioanna and her children, Alexandra and Manolis, shall welcome you with joy and serve you the flavours and dishes that are made by her who takes care of the traditional Cretan cuisine of the tavern.

Near to the centre of Medieval city of Rethymnon, in the courtyard of an old Venetian mansion, you can find the Lemonokipos Restaurant.
The restaurant has a history of one century, from then that the grandfather of householder opened the first tavern back in 1910.
In 2000 the current householder Giorgos Portalios undertook the enterprise and created an astonishing place, giving accent in the sovereign Venetian characteristics and attending particularly the courtyard with the lemon trees.
The cuisine is based on the local Cretan tradition, given however with a modern cosmopolitan way.Here in Lemonokipos you will experience the pleasure of tasting old traditional recipes, based on the pure olive oil and the chosen products, but also modern flavours from the greek and international cuisine.

In a graphic evaluated location on the main street of Ano Platanias, lies the Agioklima Restaurant.
Since 2004 that started, till today, it has been distinguished for two main reasons. First, for the original familial environment, since Bebyrakis family likes to serve its customers itself. And second, for its authentic traditional Cretan cuisine.
At Agioklima restaurant, the dishes are made by Mrs. Dimitra Bebyrakis herself, which has a 17-years old experience in cooking.
You can taste excellent dishes, cooked with authentic local recipes that remain the original Cretan flavor unchanged.
Our materials are only local and cooked with virgin olive oil.

In the middle of Stalos at Chania, on the Old High Way and 50m far from the beach, lies the Pyramis restaurant.
In a tasteful place that since 1998 till today, the owner welcomes the visitors himself. Having lived in Stockholm for 13 years, he has transfered the Scandinavian culture in his cuisine and he has accompliced to combine the Cretan nutritional tradition with touches of the European north. The result will really surprise you and his reward is the long-year friendship with his Scandinavian visitors and the exchange visiting during the winter.
You can also be served at the Beach Bar and enjoy your meal on the wave. Every Tuesday, Cretan nights are organized, with dancers that will enjoy you and teach you the secrets of traditional Greek dances.

A warm welcome from me, Antonía, my husband Yiánnis and my uncle Vasílis and all the White Lady staff to all our friends: to those we have known for years, to those we have only just met and to those who we have not yet met but who we hope will become our friends.
The main purpose of these web pages is to keep you informed about the White Lady Family Taverna. We also hope that we can give you a small taste of what a visit to the White Lady is like. We know that it cannot be as good as the real thing, but in the depths of winter, maybe we can bring a smile to your faces as you remember the happy times you have spent here.
Those of you who have already visited will know that we like our guests to have a warm and fun atmosphere where they can choose from a varied menu of traditional Cretan and Greek specialities, where they can relax or join in our entertainment evenings, Syrtáki Shows, Karaoke and all kinds of background music. For your next visit we can arrange a special occasion for you such as Birthdays, Anniversaries, Wedding Parties, or any other celebration while you are on holiday.
