The building of the restaurant – tavern and Efthimis studios was constructed at 2002 in the place of our fatherly house in the area of Georgioupolis in Chania, Crete.
The Mpailaki family invites you to spend family vacations at the comfortable and clean studios that offer you with love and hospitality.
Also, we await you at the tavern-pizzeria on the ground floor of our facilities as to enjoy unique dishes into our cool courtyard with the pergola over it.
We provide five studios:
- 1) Three studios with two bedrooms, one cuisine and bathroom that can accommodate 4 to 5 persons
- 2) Two studios with one bedroom, one cuisine and bathroom that can accommodate 2 persons.
All our studios include air-conditioning and balcony with great view. There is also a private parking for your service.
In our tavern – restaurant
We have build an oven with timbers where we cook your pizza, which you can enjoy into our space or take for the road. Our rich menu includes pizza, pasta, traditional Cretan cuisine, national cuisine and dishes cooked on the grill.

Near to the centre of Medieval city of Rethymnon, in the courtyard of an old Venetian mansion, you can find the Lemonokipos Restaurant.
The restaurant has a history of one century, from then that the grandfather of householder opened the first tavern back in 1910.
In 2000 the current householder Giorgos Portalios undertook the enterprise and created an astonishing place, giving accent in the sovereign Venetian characteristics and attending particularly the courtyard with the lemon trees.
The cuisine is based on the local Cretan tradition, given however with a modern cosmopolitan way.Here in Lemonokipos you will experience the pleasure of tasting old traditional recipes, based on the pure olive oil and the chosen products, but also modern flavours from the greek and international cuisine.

The Friendly’s Entertainment Center operates since 1999 during the summer time. We have many customers that prefer us every year and our goal is for every person that comes to Georgioupoli to meet our space and spend here its spare time.
Your children will also find here the joy of playing on the open air but completely safe playground, while the adults can play mini gold or have their drink at the snack bar.

The restaurant started in 1993 by its owner Polixronakis Manolis and was the first restaurant that opened at beach Perivolia area. Nowadays the tradition continues by his daughter Kathrin and his son in law Panagiotis Linardakis.
It’s a familial restaurant where also work their mother Toula and their cousins Tasos and Jim. Be refreshed with ice-creams, drinks and cocktails near the sea as you enjoy your bath.
You can taste dishes from Italy, Mediterranean, Greece and the traditional Cretan cuisine. The dough for the pizzas is a recipe of Mrs. Toula and makes the difference.

Cavo Doro is open all year round. From 12:00 in the noon until late in the night. Allocates air conditioning, hot and cold, inside the room but also outside. The winter and each Friday – Saturday – Sunday there is an orchestra, and live music. It is able to serve 240 persons and each event charms they become acceptable. The service is perfect and the atmosphere very friendly.
